Design and build projects can vary depending on the extent of the contractor’s design responsibility and how much initial design is included in the employer’s requirements. Nevertheless, the level of design responsibility and input from the contractor is much greater on design and build projects than a traditional contract with a contractor’s designed portion. In addition to the management team provided for more standard forms of contract our D&B are supplemented by a design team comprising consultants overseen by a company director. Regular design meetings are held in person and remotely using Microsoft Teams or Zoom to maintain an accurate flow of information. All information is recorded by Inigo staff in a variety of forms including; CAD drawings, 3D walk throughs, Excel schedules, and formal contractor reports.
For Healthcare work Inigo have experience of designing to current HTM, HBN and building regulation standards.
